AFU announces admission open for the B.Sc Forestry program for the academic year 2079-2083.

Information about filling out the online application form
(Published in Gorkha Patra on 2079/07/20) for the academic session 2079-2083 at the Bachelor of Forestry (B.Sc. Forestry) level in this faculty and under the College of Natural Resource Management, Katari Udaipur, and affiliated private college Siddhant Campus, Gaindakot-Nawalparasi.
Applications are requested for students with the minimum educational qualification required to study. It is informed that the program related to the admission of that level is as follows.
- The applicant has to submit his educational qualification certificate, citizenship certificate, and equivalency certificate along with the online application form.
- Applicants who wish to apply under different quotas should attach the certificates of the respective quotas or letters of recommendation and 1 (one) scan copy of a passport-size photograph of both ears taken recently. Also, a sample of the applicant’s signature should be attached.
- Required Minimum Educational Qualification: Passed SLC/SEE or equivalent examination with I.Sc.(Science) or
Must have studied 10+2 (Science) or Forestry at technical certificate level or equivalent with at least 50% (fifty percent) of the total marks or obtained a ‘C+’ grade in each subject with a ‘C’ grade. - In the case of subjects with both theory and practical, even if the theory and practice are less than a ‘C’ grade separately, the ‘C’ grade of the single subject (theory + practical) should be at least. If the application form is filled without meeting the eligibility, the application form will be considered ineligible, and the applicant will not be included in the entrance test.
Application form and entrance exam fee: The entrance exam fee is Rs.3,500.- (three thousand five hundred rupees). The amount can be collected from E-Sewa, Connect IPS, and Khalti App from the Online Payment Link while filling out the application form.
In addition, deposits can also be made through AFU Entrance from the Payment Menu of Siddhartha Bank’s Mobile Banking App. When depositing the amount, the full name and mobile number of the applicant must be written. If the amount is deposited in the name of more than one applicant in the same mobile number, it will not be valid.
While depositing the amount online, if you choose other faculties except the Faculty of Forestry and deposit the amount, you will not be able to apply.
Since the amount is not refundable, it has to be deposited only after confirming the faculty.
Application form filling period: Online application form can be filled out from this university’s website www.entrance.afu.edu.np till 12:00 PM on Sunday, 11th Mangsir 2079.

No action will be taken on online applications that are not duly and completely filled.
To get the admit card, the applicant must download and print it from the online portal.
Date and place of entrance exam: Saturday, 17th Mangsir 2079 at 11:00 AM. Dean’s Office, Faculty of Forestry, Hetauda, and Examination at Hetauda determined by the Dean’s Office in the centers.
Exam result publication: The exam result will be published on Sunday, Mangsir 18, 2079

The entrance exam consists of 120 questions from the following subjects from certificate-level courses.
The question paper will be prepared, and all the questions will be of multiple choice objective type. Also, the duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
