The deadline for issuing 6,97,200 Units of shares to the general public in the 2nd phase of the IPO has been extended by Asian Hydropower Company Limited. This IPO issue began on Magh 27, 2079. The IPO issue to the locals started on the 27th of Magh and has been extended until the third Falgun 2079 since the Nepalese government decided to give a public holiday on Falgun 1 as People’s War Day. The company wants to raise Rs 6.97 crore after this IPO.

The total share that the Asian Hydropower issued was 7,56,000 units with a face value of Rs 100. A total of 42,000 units was separated for the Mutual Fund, whereas 16,800 units were given to the Company’s Employees. 6,97,200 units were issued to the General public.

The corporation earlier awarded 3,40,000 shares worth Rs. 3.4 crore to locals impacted by the project and 84,0 shares to Nepalese nationals working overseas. Promoter stockholders hold 65.29% of the equity of the corporation. NMB Capital Ltd. is the issue manager for the IPO. An application may request a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 20,000 units.

Of the 840,000 units, 10%, or 84,000, have already been issued and distributed to Nepalese citizens working abroad. The company’s employees will receive 2% of the available units, 16,800 units, and 5%, or 42,000 units. There are shares set aside for mutual funds from the total shares available. There are still 6,97,200 units available for general public purchase. The company’s paid-up capital will be crores of rupees following the IPO.
