A project of HMG/Nepal, Hetuada Cement Industries LTD (HCIL), was created in BS 2033 Ashwin 13 under the Company Act 2021. The factory was developed with credit help from the Asian Development Bank and had an annual output capacity of 260000 MT of cement (ADB). Since December 1985, it has been producing commercially. The main motive of this industry is to use native raw materials wisely, such as red clay and high-quality limestone, Expand employment, be self-sufficient in manufacturing construction materials like cement, bolstering the nation’s ability to meet demand by cutting back on cement imports as much as possible and boosting economic growth by raising revenue.
