Chitwan Medical College Bachelors courses and Masters courses
The incessant efforts of highly motivated professionals led to the establishment of CMC and are recognised by all related councils in Nepal, i.e. Nepal Nursing Council, Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Health Professional Council and Nepal Pharmacy Council. CMC provides bachelor and master programs to its students. You can choose from among 8 programs of Bachelor and from 3 of masters program presently. The bachelor programs provided are Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing), Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm), Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (BSc MIT), Bachelor in Public Health (BPH) and Bachelor of Nursing (BN) and the masters program provided are Master of Nursing (MN), Master in Public Health (MPH) and MSc Clinical Microbiology. CMCTH consists of 2 complexes, hospital complex and academic complex. The academic complex is located 7.5 km south-west of the hospital complex. It comprises of basic Science building, administration building, hostel and library. The basic science building houses the department of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, and Community Medicine. The institute provides a spacious and comfortable hostel having the capacity of 240 students at a time. Students get the facilities of internet, multiple sports and recreational activities. A well-facilitated library with adequate books and references is available which can accommodate 150 students at a time.
