The Provincial Public Service Commission is covered by the following clause in Article 244 of the Nepali Constitution:
(a) Each state will have a State Public Service Commission.
(b) The Provincial Public Service Commission’s establishment, operations, responsibilities, and powers must all comply with provincial law.
(c) To fulfil the requirements of subsection (2), the Federal Parliament must pass legislation and establish the principles and standards.
