Extremely urgent information regarding completing the application for the entrance exam in the specific scholarship program for 80 local students who do not have access to technical education and wish to study for free at the diploma level.

Notice Date: February 23, 2023

The notice says, “Technical Education and Vocational Training Council, Division’s Ch.No. According to the letter dated 2079.10.24 of 2012, 80 students from 99 local level students who did not have access to education as per the provisions in the budget and program of the financial year 2079/080 of the Government of Nepal, 80 candidates to study technical education at the diploma level in the quota determined as follows. This notification has been published for the information of all concerned as a free application form has been invited from eligible Nepalese citizens as they have to be recommended for selection.”

Minimum Qualification Required:

(a) Before taking the entrance test before the alphabet system was implemented, you needed an S.L.C. from an accredited school with science, math, and English as required subjects. Or obtained a related technical S. from the council or completed an equivalent exam. L. C. achieved a passing grade of 68.33 percent of the possible points.

(b) If the letter-marking system is used, the following requirements must be met: admission from a recognized educational institution; S. e. e. 1.6 CGPA out of 4.0 overall with a minimum graded score of 1.6 CGPA or its equivalent; or Technical S. related to the program run by the council by taking required English, Mathematics, and Science subjects in the exam. L. c. 68.33 percent of the total marks were used to pass.
