The selection of qualified candidates for the positions of Provincial Civil Service, Provincial Police Service, Provincial Organized Organization, Provincial Other Government Service, Local Government Service, and Local Level Organized Organization shall be conducted by the provisions of the Provincial Public Service Commission in Article 244 of the Constitution of Nepal. The Provincial Public Service Commission was established to implement the merit system while keeping in mind the need for a competent, assertive, competitive, responsive, service-oriented, and inclusive public administration at the state and municipal levels.
