Maya Khola Hydropower Company has issued a notice regarding giving IPO to the Nepalese residents and Nepalese working abroad from 23 Mangsir.

An offer letter for an initial public offering has been made available by Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited for Sankhuwasabha District locals affected by the project and Nepalese nationals living overseas (IPO). The initial public offering (IPO) will begin on 23 Mangsir and terminate on 8 Poush in 2079 for locals and Nepalese citizens who live and work abroad. If the issue is not subscribed by the early closing date, it should state as such. Sankhuwasabha District residents may choose to postpone it until the 24th Poush.
The Maya Khola Hydropower Company is carrying out the Maya Khola Hydropower Project. On May 28, 2010 (14 Jestha, 2067), the business was registered as a private limited company under registration number 73167/066/067. On May 12, 2016 (20 Mangshir 2073), the business changed its registration to a public limited company with registration number 159553/073/74. This conversion was carried out to make it easier for the corporation to issue equity to the public.
The Maya Khola Hydropower Project is located in eastern Nepal’s Sankhuwasabha district and was initially planned as a 5 MW project, the run of river project. However, the capacity was changed to 14.9 MW by current NEA rules (@ exceedance factor of Q40).
