A proactive professional is required to fill the role of Transport Expert in the World Bank’s Transport (ISAT I) Global Practice at the Nepal Country Office in Kathmandu. The tenure of this appointment is for two years.
Qualifications required:
A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field (transport engineering, planning, economics, or a related subject) with a focus on at least two of the following areas is required of the applicant in addition to at least five years of relevant professional experience in the transportation business:
- Management/ Implementation of Transport Infrastructure Investments & Operational Services.
- Logistics Services
- Highway/ Roads Engineering
- Transport Planning, Design & Operations
- Urban Mobility
- Public Procurement & Contract Management
