How to prepare for CMAT Exam
To prepare for CMAT, one can simply join CMAT preparation classes. There are many CMAT classes around the Kathmandu valley. Some colleges even provide preparation books as guide. This books help students approaching the CMAT examination.

CMAT entrance Exam and Interview
Every applicant who wants to join BBA/BIM/BHM/BTTM should appear in CMAT. Tribhuvan University conducts CMAT every year to students who have recently appeared in 10+2 and A level board exams. Applicant having CGPA 1.8 in grade 11 and 12 or minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline are eligible to apply for CMAT.
Applicants must get minimum score of 40 out of 100 in order to pass CMAT test. Interview is conducted for the short listed applicant for the selection of applicant in respective college where the form has been filled. Applicant can apply in other colleges if he/ she doesn’t want to get enrolled in the same college.
CMAT Exam Question Format
Applicant appearing in CMAT should really understand the standard testing pattern to score better in test. Test must be completed in 90 minutes and consists of altogether 100 objective questions with four sections containing 25 questions in each.

- General awareness
CMAT question type – Verbal ability
This test consists of topics like; synonyms, antonyms prepositions, sentence, passage, comprehension passage and questions, idioms and phrases.
CMAT question type – Quantitative Ability
This section includes mathematical aptitude of applicant. The topic under this test are sets and number system, statistics, integers, probability, indices, functions and graphs, permutation and combination, matrices ,and many more.
CMAT question type – Logical reasoning
This ability checks thinking ability of applicants through topics. The topics are series test, coding and decoding, ranking, blood relation. Similarly it also includes odd man out, venn-diagram, problem figures, thematic test. The other inclusion are missing number test, direction test and similar relationship
CMAT question type – General Awareness
This section asses the intelligence level of students through topics like politics, mythology, history of Nepal, word history, geography and population, science and technology, sports, book and authors, famous quotes and more.

CMAT Examination Entrance exam date
You can fill CMAT form online and submit in any college offering respective programs (BBA/BIM/BHM/BTTM) by paying Rs. 1000. CMAT exam takes place usually every year generally in the month of November. This year (2018) applicant can fill up their form from October 09 to November 16. Admission of this test is on November 24, 2020 on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
