BSc in Forestry has published a notice regarding the scholarship. Students can now submit the application form to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Scholarship Branch in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Scholarship Division in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, accepts applications from Nepali citizens for the free study (scholarship) of the BSc in Forestry at the Tribhuvan University-affiliated Kathmandu Forestry College.

The notice says, “According to the letter received dated 2079.11.16, the government of Nepal has to recommend and nominate five students for the study of BSc Forestry scholarship for the year 2079-083 in the Kathmandu Forestry College affiliated to Tribhuvan University. To maintain and nominate qualifications, applications are invited from willing Nepali citizens who have fulfilled the following qualifications along with the prescribed necessary documents.”
1) Minimum qualification required for application
a) Must have participated and passed the undergraduate entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Forestry Studies, Pokhara, under Terti University in 2079.
b) Group and seat prescribed for application:
b 1. 3 Seats in General Group
b 2. Reservation Group: Women 1 and Tribal 1
2) Application deadline: From 25th Falgun 2079 to 25th Chaitra 2079 at Education, Science, and Technology Mantra Scholarship Branch, Sanothimi Bhaktapur (Former distance education center premises. The application form is attached herewith.
4) Documents to be submitted with the application
- filled application form with revenue submitted gross receipt
- Copy of Citizenship Certificate
- Roll number of the entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry Studies, Pokhara, Rank / Merit, Subject,
- Copy of Transcript of Educational Qualification passed in 10+2 or Certificate level or equivalent.
- Copy of mark sheet of SEE / SLC examination
- If the board where the educational qualification was obtained is outside Nepal, a copy of the equivalency certificate issued by the relevant board
- A copy of the recommendation letter from the concerned district administration office of the same person if the name, surname, and date of birth differ in the certificate of citizenship and educational qualification.
