Kathmandu University is one of the renowned universities in Nepal. It is the third old university of Nepal that was established in 1991. It is an autonomous, nongovernmental public institution which has the motto of “Quality Education for Leadership”. It is situated in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchowk district Nepal which is about 30 km east of the country’s capital, Kathmandu. The university operates through its seven schools and from the premises in Dhulikhel, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. Kathmandu University is well known for a timely publishment of KU routine.
The university provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in seven fields i.e. engineering, science, management, arts, education, law and medical sciences. These seven fields are operated through its seven schools, namely, School of Engineering, School of Science, School of Management, School of Arts, School of Education, School of Law and School of Medical Sciences respectively. Among these, School of Medical Sciences and School of Engineering have the most students.
In each of the school, there are various programs to choose from. In engineering, the undergraduate courses are provided in civil, computer, electrical and electronics, mechanical, environmental, geomatics and chemical. School of Science provides undergraduate courses in Biotechnology, environmental science, pharmacy, human biology and applied physics. School of Management provides programs of Bachelors in Business Administration, Executive MBA, Masters in Business Administration. The art school provides the program in the field of music, media, community development, fine art and economics. Medical Science School provides programs in various medical specialities and sub specialities like B.Sc. Nursing, PCL Nursing, Bachelor in Nursing, B.Sc. Midwifery, Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelors in Dental Science. These every faculty has different KU routine for KU examination.

How to check Kathmandu University routine?
To check the KU routine of the exam, follow the steps below:
- Go to the official website of Kathmandu University through your browser which is ku.edu.np.
- The homepage of KU website opens. You will see different links there. You have to click on the Exams Section.
- After the page for the exam section opens, click on “Notice and Exam Schedule”.
- The list for exam schedules opens. Scroll down and check for your routine here.
- If the KU routine has been published, select the respective link. The pdf page opens for the KU routine which gives you notice on the subjects, date and time of examination.
