This institution offers a Master of Science in Mountain and Mountaineering Science (MMS) program affiliated with the Institute of Science and Technology (loST), TU. MSc in Mountain and Mountaineering Science Nepal Mountain Academy (NMA) invites applications for admission to the Master of Science affiliated with the Institute of Science and Technology (loST), Tribhuvan University (TU).

Documentation required for Mountain & Mountaineering Science:

  • Candidates must include the following papers with their applications: documents proving they passed all of your examinations
  • Recent two passport-size photographs
  • An equivalency certificate is necessary if the candidate holds a bachelor’s degree from a foreign university.

Application Fee: Candidates who want to apply for the M.S.c at Mountain & Mountaineering Science apply before the deadline. Starting 11 Falgun 2079, the MMS program application will be available at loST, TU, and NMA. The application fee for the entrance exam is Rs. 2100. By 8 Chaitra 2079, the entrance application must be submitted.

Eligibility required for Mountain and Mountaineering Science:

  • Applicants must meet the following prerequisites to be eligible to apply for the MMS program.
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% or a CGPA of 2.00 in one of the following fields.
  • BSc in broad science or a degree of a similar kind equal to a BSc in forestry, a BSc in agriculture, or a BE in civil engineering or a similar field.
  • Bachelor of Mountaineering Studies, Physical Geography Bachelor, or equivalent BMS with a +2 in Science (B.Sc. Computer Science and Information Technology)
