Nepal Rastra Bank has introduced new 100 rupees note which consists of Mount Everest on the left side and Ashok Pillar on the middle. Even Lumbini The Birth Place of Lord Buddha is written just below it.
Introducing this note, Lord Buddha and Mount Everest are symbolized as a gift of Nepal.

Government of Nepal has issued a new note of Rs. 100. The birth place of Lord Buddha will be included in the 100 rupee note that is published by Nepal Rastriya Bank. To aware world regarding the birth place of Lord Buddha, the enlightened one, the government has taken this step.
The note will be available in the market from next month.It has Sagarmatha in the left side, Map of Nepal in the middle, Ashoka’s pillar and written text “Lumbini The Birth Place of Lord Buddha” in english, according to the Nepal Rastriya Bank.
Nepal Rastriya Bank have also announced that from next year, in other notes also there will be information about Lord Buddha.
This is the first time that Nepali ruppee will include the information about the birth place of Nepal.
Since there are various rumors and mis-guiding information about Lord Buddha in the world. So Nepal Rastriya Bank had taken this initiation to aware world about the information of Lord Buddha.
