About the Lok Sewa Aayog:
The Public Service Commission must offer exams to choose candidates who are qualified for appointment to public service jobs, as stated in Article 243 of the Nepalese Constitution. It is clear that when the word “civil service post” is used to refer to a soldier, Nepal Police officer, or member of the Armed Police Force, all other service posts of the Government of Nepal are included, except those explicitly named in the Act.
The Public Service Commission is mandated to administer the written examinations for positions with the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, other federal government services, and organized organizations in addition to civil service positions.
