Lok Sewa Aayog, also known as Public Service Commission. It is an independent constitutional body established on 15 June 1951 A.D with a motive to select the deserving candidates required for the government of Nepal in civil services.

It is one of the most challenging and accredited modes of recruitment in Nepal. Every year tenth of thousands of candidates competes for this exam, where only hundreds succeed.
The group of experts prepares the paper for the Lok Sewa Aayog exam, which is checked by highly experienced professionals so that only suitable candidates can be selected based on the written exam.
Besides the written exam, it also conducted several other exams like a practical exam and interviews with the selected candidates. Lok Sewa Aayog’s result is based on all these examinations.
Lok Sewa Aayog Result
When any department needs human resources, then the Public Service Commission, as per the act, decides the number of vacancies for the department for a particular post. Then Every Wednesday, on its websites and Gorkhapatra, it advertises the www.psc.gov.np vacancy for the required position.
Any eligible candidates can apply for the vacancy within 21 days, and beyond that, they can apply by paying the double fee within seven days. Then the department of PSC verifies the application of eligible candidates and provides the exam card to the candidates.
To make the selection process convenient, there will be no connection between the personnel who prepare questions, analysis the questions, and check the paper and the interviewers. Every personnel related to these works is different, and they don’t have a relation to their careers.
The written exam paper of candidates will be given the following code prior to the first code and checked by experienced professionals. The selected candidate’s name will be published in the newspaper and on its official website. Then, the selected candidates will be called for interviews and other required tests.
Finally, the candidate who has passed the entire test will be selected.
How to Check PSC result from www.psc.gov.np result?
The public service commission will publish the result in Gorkhapatra, a national daily newspaper. You can buy the newspaper and check your name. You can also check your results on its website. For this, please follow the given procedure:
- View: psc.gov.np
- You can select language between Nepali and English. For this, on the top left corner, there is the option. Select the one.
- Just scroll down to the bottom page.
- Click “Likhit natija” option.
- Now, a new page will open.
- Based on your exam, click on the download link to download the result.
- Finally, check the result in pdf file.
Along with the Lok Sewa Aayog result, there will be a notice where the candidates will be called for further selection procedures and have to bring their documentation as per the notice. You will be given the date, address, and time for the upcoming exams. Please take all the documents you need as per notice and always attend the exam one hour earlier than the given time.
