Nepal was declared as a federal democratic republic of Nepal on December 28, 2007. After that, the government of Nepal has declared its national symbols. Here are the brief descriptions of national symbols of Nepal:
Lophophorus is declared as the national bird of Nepal. It is famously known as Daanfe in Nepal. It is also called Himalayan Munal. It is basically found in the altitudes between 2400 and 4500 meters in Nepal.
A new emblem was introduced on 30 December 2016. It contains a national flag, Mount Everest, green hills that represent hilly region, yellow color that symbolizes the fertile land of terai, a joining hand of male and female for the symbol of gender equity, a map of Nepal and the garland of Rhododendron flower.
The national flag of Nepal is only the flag with a triangular shape in the world. It is made by the combination of two single pennons. The red color represents the national flower of the country and the blue color represents the peace. The sun and the moon represent that Nepal will remain until the sun and the moon exist.
Daura Suruwal is the national dress of Nepal. It is worn by my males in the special occasion with Dhaka topi. It is mostly worn by the people of rural areas. However, it is being popular in urban areas too.

A cow is the national animal of Nepal. So, killing cows are banned in Nepal. If anyone found will be punished under the law of government of Nepal. Most of the Nepalese in Hilly and Terai region raised cow as a domestic animal for milk and other dairy products.
Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal. In Nepal, it is famous by name Lali Gurans. More than 30 different species of Rhododendron are available in Nepal. They are found at the altitude in between 2000 and 4000 m.
Nepali is the national language of Nepal. It is the most spoken language in Nepal. It is even spoken in different parts of India and Bhutan.
Crimson is the national color of Nepal. It Is a strong, bright, deep reddish purple color.
