Nepali numbers are unique. It starts with Yek. Yek means one. In the image I have attached, this number system is taken from Sanskrit, from which most of the counting numbers came.
Yek has no zeros. It is also said One in English number system.
Dash has one zero. It is also said tenths in English number system.
Saya has two zeros. It is also said hundreds in English number system.
Hajar has three zeros. It is also said once in English number system.
Dash Hajar has four zeros. It is also said once in English number system.
Lakh has five zeros. It is also said hundred thousand in English number system.
Dash Lakh has six zeros. It is also said million in English number system.
Karod has seven zeros. It is also said ten million in English number system.
Dash Karod has eight zeros. It is also said hundred million in English number system.
Arab has nine zeros. It is also said one billion in English number system.
